The Fiji Political Review is an independent online journal providing rigorous, factual analysis of Fijian politics, policy and governance — for citizens, researchers and decision-makers across the Pacific.

We are founded on a simple principle: that Fiji's democracy is better served by evidence-based political analysis that is free from government, advertiser and political party influence.

Our Editorial Commitment

Every claim we publish is sourced. Every error we make is corrected publicly. Every party we criticise is given a right of response. These commitments are set out in full in our Editorial Independence Charter.

Founding Editor

Lanieta Tukana founded the Fiji Political Review in 2026. A governance and strategic operations professional with expertise in executive leadership and project management, she built the FPR on a simple conviction: that Fiji deserves independent political analysis held to the same standards of accuracy and transparency it demands of its leaders.
